This is the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for the Spectrelle app, provided separately from our general Privacy promise to meet Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar consumer-health-data laws. The Spectrelle app is in development and does not yet collect data; this policy describes what it will do and will be finalized with legal counsel before any health data is collected.
Categories of consumer health data we collect
Only what a caregiver chooses to enter about their child or themselves, which may include: sleep, behaviour observations, emotions, food and hydration, digestion, pain, illness and symptoms, medications, and caregiver wellbeing check-ins.
How we use it (purposes)
- To provide the app’s core service to the caregiver: keeping a private record and surfacing patterns they can review or share with their own clinician.
- To operate, secure, and support the service.
We do not sell consumer health data, use it for advertising, or profile you.
Categories of sources
Health data comes from the caregiver’s own entries in the app. Children do not have accounts and do not enter data.
What we share, and with whom
- Care-team sharing you choose: if you explicitly share a child’s information with a named care-team member, only the categories you select are shared, for the purpose you choose, and you can revoke it at any time. Caregiver wellbeing data is never shared.
- Service providers (processors): infrastructure providers that process data only on our instructions to run the service (for example, our cloud host). They may not use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
- Consent & withdrawal: collection is based on your affirmative consent; you can withdraw it at any time in the app’s settings, which stops future collection (withdrawal does not delete what’s already stored).
- Access & deletion: you can export or delete your data at any time, on every tier, for free.
- Appeal: if we deny a rights request, you may appeal, and where an appeal is denied you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.

This policy will carry an effective date and version, and be finalized with counsel, before the app collects any data. It is provided separately and distinctly from our general Privacy promise as required by the My Health My Data Act.
